The Regional Coordinator for Region 1 is the Region 1 Coordinator Collaborative (R1CC),
a group of three Regional Planning Organizations – Southern Maine Planning and
Development Commission (SMPDC), Greater Portland Council of Governments (GPCOG),
and Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission (LCRPC) – facilitated by Resilient
Communities, L3C, a planning entity located in Knox County.

The R1CC co-leads assist communities in enrolling in the Community Resilience Partnership. Additionally, they add capacity for municipal climate action projects, provide technical assistance, and connect community members to relevant resources and funding opportunities.
